Accessibility Training

We offer inclusion and accessibility training for local organizations to help people better understand disability. We offer a helpful overview for addressing disability issues in the workplace and can tailor an interactive presentation to address your organization’s specific needs. Presentations cover such topics as:

  • Disability definitions and people-first language
  • Signs of ableism
  • How to interact with people with disabilities, service dogs, etc.
  • The importance of inclusion of people with disabilities
  • Tips for creating a more welcoming environment

In response to post-presentation surveys, attendees rated our inclusion and accessibility training as follows:

  • Did you find the presentation to be informative? 4.94/5
  • Did you feel the presenter was knowledgeable about the subject covered? 4.99/5
  • Would you recommend this training/presentation to others? 4.91/5

Due to advances in healthcare and technology, people with disabilities are living longer and being joined by a growing senior population, producing an ever-increasing need for awareness and education regarding disability.
