Individual Opportunities
Hundreds of volunteers help us execute the events. Duties include helping set up, take down, registration, meals, etc.
The Planning Committees meet monthly to help to ensure the success of our Absolutely Accessible Kent and Invest in Ability events.
Test Pilots are individuals with disabilities who generously volunteer their time and valuable insights to assist Disability Advocates in evaluating and enhancing accessibility within our community.
Group Opportunities
Community volunteers will collaborate with our Test Pilots and DAKC staff to evaluate local venues, pathways, and parking for accessibility within our community.
Groups can help us further our mission of advocating for accessible and welcoming communities in a variety of ways.
These events help provide young adults with disabilities with real-world interview experience, constructive feedback, and insight from professionals to help them prepare for future career opportunities.
