Accessibility Reviews
Working towards an accessible world
Disability Advocates works with local businesses, nonprofits, architects and developers to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Michigan Construction Code. We believe that a welcoming, inclusive community is one that is accessible to all people regardless of abilities. Indicators and standards used in our reviews were developed based on the above legislation and input from Centers for Independent Living (CILs) throughout the State.
