Young people with disabilities struggle disproportionately with finding work. The employment rate for people with disabilities in Michigan hovers around 30% each year.

Many employers do not know how to reasonably accommodate people with disabilities. Most office spaces are not built using inclusive design principles. Accessible technology is also not readily available.

Our career workshops prepare young people to pursue the job of their choosing. Participants walk away with a professionally reviewed resume and application, mock interview preparation, and networking tips. They also receive individualized attention from career coaches.

Funding is needed to maintain the high quality of this programming, while continuing to expand into new parts of Kent County.
