Experienced adults are a growing, but largely untapped,
resource for addressing community issues.
As a result a national movement has started to engage people in the 50+ age group in purposeful volunteer work.

Thanks to funding from The Grand Rapids Community Foundation, Disability Advocates, in partnership with the Grand Rapids Area Coalition to End Homelessness, is one of nine Grand Rapids nonprofit organizations putting this concept into practice to support local efforts to end homelessness.

Come join us in increasing the supply of affordable, accessible housing.  We offer training and support to assist volunteers in advocacy on public policy issues related to
affordable and accessible housing.
